Who We Are
Global Study Tour Solutions (GSTS) is a global experiential learning consulting firm. Our expertise is between China and the US, and our partners are mainly schools and educational organizations. We bring students to our partners’ schools and programs, help our partners grow their businesses, and maximize their potential by connecting our partners for broader global cooperation. Together, we have provided exceptional global study tour programs to thousands of students from China and the US, from elementary to college, and empowered them to achieve more while traveling abroad.
Global Study Tour Solutions was created with a passion and belief in global education and experiential learning. Our goal is to create a “feel-good” business prioritizing personal fulfillment, meaningful work, and a positive impact on the lives of our students, partners, and team members. We strive to create value, generate profits, and have freedom, fun, and flexibility while connecting our partners for broader global cooperation.
What We Do
We work on a business-to-business model. We are the bridge between our partners with student resources and our partners with program resources. We bring students to our partners’ existing programs and create new programs with them. We believe global experiential learning is a life-changing experience that can open doors and enrich lives!
For example, one of our partners is China's largest short-term global study tour provider. Since 2005, they have sent over 140,000 Chinese students to over 40 countries for summer and winter programs. We have worked with this Chinese partner for almost 20 years and are helping this partner define the right fit programs in the US for their Chinese students and negotiate partnership deals.
Another example is that one of our previous partners was a community college. During our five years of partnership, we brought over 1,000 students to their campus for short-term summer and winter programs. -- “I worked with Summer Herr, the founder of GSTS, in developing, scheduling, and implementing programs for visiting Chinese students. Before my retirement as Director of ESL Programs and Continuing Education (La Sierra University, Riverside, California), Ms. Herr’s organization provided more than 1,000 students over five years to our university campus for customized programs. The students had various academic, emersion, social, and community service experiences. Our Chinese students can join your existing programs, or we can create new programs together.
We will customize a life-long experience for your group(s) to China to fit your goals, timeframe, and budget.

At Global Study Tour Solutions, our resources are our assets. We connect our global partners and leverage our resources to create value and make an impact.

Our programs are designed to develop and enrich our students so they would have the tools to take on leadership roles and become the authors of their own future.
Our students will complete our programs empowered and excited by who they are, with more confidence, compassion, and courage. They will have a clearer path to their future with the knowledge, experience, and skills to become effective leaders in the global community.
As a social enterprise, we are creating an unique opportunity to influence the future. It starts with the hearts and minds of the youth, and by instilling a sense of greatness, leadership, appreciation, and responsibility in the students, this future will become much brighter for all of us.
